oh the winter veggie book sounds good, i have to admit i do run out of ideas at the end of winter of what to cook with regional and seasonal foods. i'm going to check out that blanket. i'd love to knit a blanket for our baby (due in summer, but autumn always follows, doesn't it) but i have to say it is the borders that give me a headache, i will check that link you gave!
