Happy Last Monday of January...
Hope your time over the weekend was restful and fruitful.
Right now I'm enjoying...
Realizing how deeply we all love good bread around here (no, I did not make it).
Watching my son make chocolate peanut butter balls all by himself...and share them with someone who's going through a rough time recently. (they're called 'buckeyes' ~ never knew what a buckeye was until a few years ago)
Loving the mystery of fog that crept into our neighborhood within a few hours. It always reminds me of The Hound of the Baskervilles.
Happy that my children love a good game...this time, Telestrations and getting lots of laughs from it.
Baking Pumpkin Oatmeal Bake after reading about it on Ginny's blog.
Finishing all 3 mini quilts (will show later this week).
Beginning to pick out fabrics for Randi's Fresh Squeezed upcoming Sew Along...what serendipity...my ironing board cover is...ahem...ugly and needs to be covered.
Being thankful for another family meal spent together after listening to God's word preached. What a blessing, indeed!
What are you enjoying?

Those chocolate peanut butter balls look amazing! So funny, I was going to start a ironing board sew along this week too...I guess people get sick of them this time of year. LOL!

lovely weekend ellen, i've never heard of buckeyes, it's a candy? my ironing board cover looks a lot like yours (but mine is in much worse shape), and your quilting is gorgeous. i am really getting in the mood to sew again.
i like fog, but sometimes it gets to be too much here on the coast. sometimes we hear the foghorn blow even before seeing that mist roll in.

When I saw the photo of the ironing board, I thought you meant that you were enjoying ironing! As someone who despises ironing I'm glad that it was just to show your point about sewing a new cover. :)

I LOVE your quilt tease! The fabrics look so heavenly ... and that bread looks seriously delicious! I have never had buckeyes but they look great (and you can't beat PB and Chocolate).
